Coach Ellerson and his assistant coaches are busy with recruiting and preparing for the upcoming season. Coach Ellerson would love for the Army Football Club (AFC) to be the "eyes and ears within their areas." The AFC is an invaluable tool in being the eyes and ears of the Army Football Recruiting. If you see a football prospect in your area about whom you are excited, please contact the recruiting coordinator, Coach Dan Baranik, at Dan.Baranik@usma.edu to let him know right away. Dan will make certain that the recruiting coach in that geographical area follows-up.

Currently, Coach Ellerson has assigned a coach for all 50 states. The coaching staff will turn over every rock to find the next great player. The AFC is a great tool to help this program, if utilized within the NCAA rules. As former players, we cannot talk to these prospects, but we can inform the coaches and they will investigate immediately. You should not expect to hear back from a coach about a prospect that you have identified. The coaches just don't have the time to provide this feedback, but you can rest assured that this information is greatly appreciated by the Army coaches. Also it is important that you understand that Coach Ellerson may not always agree with your evaluation of talent.

FYI, contact information for Coach Dan Baranik can also be found on the AFC website www.armyfootballclub.org under the AFC Mission link.
