Kimsey Athletic Center |

The Intercollegiate Athletic Complex consists of two phases. Phase I is the Kimsey Athletic Center and bears the name of it's leadership donor, Mr. James V. Kimsey, Class of 1962. Construction began in January 2000 and was completed in the spring of 2003. Phase II was Randall Hall, construction began in the fall of 2003 and then dedicated on September 5, 2005. |

The first floor houses the locker room with 151 permanent lockers and space for temporary lockers so that all players will be able to occupy the same comfortable well-lit locker room. Immediately off the locker room is the shower room. The visitor's locker room is also located on the first floor.
|
The first floor also holds a sport's medicine center for treatment of athletes from all five teams. The sports medicine center (right) will include examination rooms, a taping room (below right), an injury rehabilitation room, a cardiovascular fitness room (below).

Another part of the sport's medicine center is the hydrotherapy rehabilitation tubs and the hydrotherapy rehabilitation pool. |

The central feature of the second floor is the strength development center designed to meet the training needs of the athletes from all five sports. The pictures at right and below give you a good view of this outstanding facility.

Architectural drawings of the third floor which houses the Kenna Hall of Army Sports made possible through the generosity of its lead donor, E. Douglas Kenna '45, an All-American QB on Army's 1944 National Champions team. The third floor is smaller than the first two floors and houses the Kenna Hall of Army Sports, a special area where memorabilia commemorating the rich tradition of Army Athletics is on display. The Kenna Hall of Army Sports is pictured at right.

Blaik Gallery is also housed on the third floor and is part of the Kenna Hall of Army Sports. It contains Army Football items from the coaching years of Earl Blaik, 1941 to 1958.
|
Also housed on the third floor are the offices of the Army football coaches and their support staff. One of these offices is pictured at right.
