Welcome to the AFC website.

Army Accepts Bowl Bid to Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl on Saturday, December 22, 2018

Army Football Brotherhood,

It is an exciting time for the Army Football program!  As we enter Beat Navy week ranked in the Top 25 for the first time since 1996, we are also thrilled to have been selected to play in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, TX on Saturday, December 22 at 2:30pm CT for the second consecutive season.

Last year, we asked former Army Football players to step-up and show what the Army Football Brotherhood is all about by purchasing and/or donating tickets.  The Brotherhood, no surprise, answered the call and purchased and/or donated 1,100 tickets to help cover tickets for football players families and made sure the passion of the Army faithful was on full display.

After meeting with the AFC Board last summer and discussing the significant impact The Brotherhood made, we decided to join forces again in 2018.

Once again, we ask you to support The Brotherhood by either purchasing or donating tickets for the bowl game through the Army Athletics ticket office.  You can purchase your bowl game tickets by clicking here

You can donate bowl tickets for a football player’s family or a cadet by clicking here. Select “ODIA– Army Football Ticket Fund” and be sure to type “AFC” in the comments field, so we can track The Brotherhood’s impact. You can also call (845) 938-2322 or 1-877-TIX-ARMY (849-2769).

Purchasing or donating tickets through the Army Athletics, as opposed to through the bowl or secondary ticket market, directly impacts the football program and the athletic department in several ways:

  1. Financial Impact – The revenue from tickets purchased and donated through the Army Athletics ticket office comes directly back to the athletic department and allows us to cover the costs associated with the bowl game.Tickets purchased from the bowl directly and secondary ticket market (stubhub, Vivid Seats, etc.) provide no benefit to the Army Football Brotherhood and prevents us from being able to accurately track how many tickets our fans are purchasing and use that data in securing a future bowl tie-in.

  2. Fan Support – The bowl does not provide complimentary tickets for our football players families or members of the Corps of Cadets that want to make the trip to support the team.To donate tickets for a football player’s family or a cadet, click here.

  3. Future Bowl Tie-ins – We are currently working on securing a bowl tie-in for future years and our ability to sell our ticket allotment will set us apart from other programs and conferences.

As I have outlined above, purchasing tickets for the Armed Forces Bowl through the Army Athletic ticket office is incredibly important to our football program and our athletic department.  Please show your support for our program by doing this today!  Let’s show people, once again, what the Army Football Brotherhood is about!

Go Army!

Be well,

Boo Corrigan

Director of Athletics
